Little Monkeys now has two Nurseries, one in Horsham and one in Worthing.
Horsham is a purpose -built Nursery completed in January 2005 and Worthing in September 2007. Although each Nursery is relatively small, we pride ourselves on delivering the best possible service to parents and children.
All our toys and equipment are of the highest quality in order to provide the very best environment for your child.
We understand that getting ready in the morning to come to Nursery can be quite stressful! This is why our fees are fully inclusive of all meals and snacks, formula milk, nappies, baby wipes and creams.
We take the responsibility for looking after your child very seriously, and set high standards with regard to health and safety. We offer a wide range of activities to ensure your child has every opportunity to grow and develop in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Each child has their own dedicated Key Worker - someone who has special responsibility to monitor and record your child's progress against nationally recognised educational and developmental standards. These observations are recorded in your child's Learning Journal, which you can ask to see at any time, and will go with your child when they leave Nursery and progress to school.
All our staff are carefully chosen and have an advanced Criminal Records Bureau check. In addition, we always take up a minimum of two personal references before a position is offered to them. 90% of our staff are qualified to a minimum of NVQ in Childcare Level 2, and most to Level 3. We actively encourage our staff to continue their professional development whilst they are with us and we offer a range of training courses to keep them up to date with the latest practice in childcare. Some of our staff have now reached level 4 and degree level.
Little Monkeys is an educational establishment registered and monitored by Ofsted. As such, your child will be monitored to ensure they are developing in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage for 0 - 5 years.
